а в vlc можно заставить как-то работать , там как-то наглядно понятно как параметры менять

для меня наверное будет video0 в строке mplayer -vf pp=lb /dev/video1.
а что значит символы -vf pp=lb ?

vf - видеофильтр pp=lb - чрезстрочность linear blend. Ну так заработало, если шум появился.... Не торопись, потихоньку разберемся. И, да, попробуйте перевести приведенный Вами код - много интересного узнаете

откуда берут символы -vf pp=lb (вы про них говорили) ? как их расшифровывают ? может есть какой набор стандартных символов для linux ? наверное как-то глупо звучит , но я об этом понятия не имею, попробовал набрать в поисковой системе , но ничего путного интернет не выдал.

Блииин, ну зачем Вы выбрали Линукс... на Винде все работает, вроде бы, без проблем.... Все просто (в смысле - просто надо) почитать Все, в т.ч. и я, учимся, надеюсь вместе с Вами? А шум - ему же воспроизводить ничего не задано.

да, уже эту ссылку нашёл, углубился , пока мало что понял.
да , на windows 7 и XP тв-тюнер работает, но люди ведь как-то пользуются на linux, и при чём с использованием vlc, вот не могу понять - почему vlc не видит тв-тюнер ????
